Rivers of Living Water International Ministry (Mirav) is a Portuguese-speaking, apostolic church rooted in the vision of making disciples and restoring families through the power of Jesus Christ. With a foundation in the Model of 12, Mirav is passionate about building strong spiritual communities through small groups, mentorship, and deep encounters with God. Our mission is to equip every believer to grow in faith, live with purpose, and fulfill the Great Commission — making disciples of all nations.
Under the spiritual guidance of Apostles Robert and Efigênia Paiva, Mirav is led with wisdom, faith, and love. Together with a dedicated team of pastors, cell leaders, and ministry teams, our leadership is committed to raising up a new generation of disciples who live by the Word, serve with excellence, and walk in the calling God has for their lives. The leadership of Mirav is defined by authenticity, unity, and an unwavering commitment to see lives transformed by the Gospel.
Mirav began in 1986 as a small home gathering for worship among a group of Brazilian immigrants in Marlborough, Massachusetts. As the community grew, so did the church’s impact. In 1987, the congregation officially became the Marlborough Brazilian Evangelical Church, and later in 2003, it was renamed Rivers of Living Water International Ministry to reflect its apostolic vision and international calling. Over the past 38 years, Mirav has been a place of revival, healing, and growth — a spiritual home where countless lives have encountered God, families have been restored, and leaders have been empowered for the Kingdom.
We follow Jesus’ command to make disciples and equip leaders. The "Model of 12".

Mark 16:15
We believe in a deep, authentic relationship with God that translates into loving others.

John 4:23-24
At Mirav, we follow Jesus’ model of discipleship through the Model of 12 — walking closely with others to multiply leaders.
Through small groups (“cells”), mentorship, and leadership growth, each member is encouraged to deepen their walk with God and disciple others.
